I started using Jake in December 2020 when I was 72 years of age.
Weight has always been a problem for me. Before COVID started, we were on vacation, and I got stuck in a car. This was a breaking point for me, and 314 pounds was ridiculous. So I combined the features of the various diets that I like, and the weight started to come off. Jake has helped me build muscle, so I do not have hanging flesh.
We work hard on balance, mobility, and strength. It makes life much easier. While prisoner lunges are not my favorite, they really help me be able to get up and down off the ground.
In March of 2022, I bought my wife a birthday present, and she is now also working out with Jake. It has really helped her strength and mobility. We are both thankful to Jake for helping improve our health.

If you’re looking for a trainer who is encouraging, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable and passionate about fitness, Jake is your guy! He challenged and motivated me so that I was able to make good progress in my fitness goals. While training with Jake, I was able to achieve my first pull-up, as well as improve my bouldering on-sight grade from V3 to V4. I also became noticeably stronger overall and saw visible physique changes. I had such a great experience with Jake and I highly recommend him!
